The box is still available from here for £20.  But be quick if you want to get it in time for next Saturday.

After the event I will post some comments on how the night went and we can see if my opinion of any of the beers have been changed with the tasting tips.

This Beer Recently picked up the the best AF lager of 2020 in the AF Beer Club 2020 Awards.

I must admit I'm not a big lager fan and when I tried this I found it to have a very hoppy taste.  I gave it 3 out of 5.

Traditional Pale Ale 0.0%
Nirvana describe this as A Timeless Classic, Reinvented for the mindful Beer Drinker.  Think Cask Ale for the modern era.

Key Characteristics are A Traditional English pale Ale made with lightly roasted barley, giving a caramel malt body that is balanced with a lingering crisp hop bitterness.

When I tried this I found it to be very Malty and quite sweet and gave it 2 out of 5

Hoppy Pale Ale 0.5%

Nirvana Describe this as A go-to beer for everyday drinking, this sessional pale ale uses Fruity mosaic Hops.  Our refreshing best seller.

The key Characteristics are This light refreshing pale ale offers tropical and floral aromas leading to a dry, bitter finish.  Deliciously sessionable and Moreish.

This beer has won a Bronze award in the United Kingdom category at the World Beer Awards

When I first tried this I described it as Smooth hop taste. Definitely one you could drink all night and gave it 3.5 out of 5.

Organic Pale Ale 0.5

Nirvana describe this as Organic first gold hops and British malts make this certified organic beer a real friend to the earth and your palate.

Key Characteristics are Brewed using our favourite of all English hops giving this pale ale balanced hints of spice and tangerine, leading to a gentle toffee finish.

When I first tried this I described it as a nice session pale but it left was left with a strange aftertaste which can be seen in a lot of Non Alcoholic beers.  I gave it 2.5 out of 5

Classic IPA  0.5%

Nirvana describe this as.  A crowd Pleaser using Amarillo hops, packing a punchy hit perfect for a hot Summers Day.

The key characteristics are A classic IPA with a light amber body, bursting with citrus aromas on the first pour.  The hops bring notes of pine and spice giving a lingering bitterness for you to savour and enjoy.

when I first had this I said It was very hoppy but again left a strange artificial bitterness behind and gave it 3/5

Dark & Rich Stout 0%

Nirvana describe this as Dark roasted malts take centre stage in this rich and chocolatey Stout.  Bold enough to pack a punch, light enough to enjoy any time of the year.

Its key characteristics are a Gluten free stout thats dark in colour and rich in flavour, with deep aromas of chocolate and hints of vanilla and a smooth toasted malt base.

When I tried this I described it as malty with a hint of chocolate.  A decent AF stout but not up there with the likes of big drop and drop bear.
I gave it 3/5
